COVID-19 Preventive Actions in My Clinic

As a responsible regulated health professional I am keeping informed about procedural changes related to COVID-19 and how it affects my practice. Information sites that I am following are the Lambton Public Health web page, as well as the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario statements.

Currently risk is low in our area. However I am including applicable screening questions with existing patient appointments and new patient intakes in order to protect my patients.

Practice Standards as set out by my college already include preventive measures regarding the spread of infection.

I will continue to stay informed and alter procedures appropriately. I will also keep you up to date on any concerns regarding my specific practice.

Things to consider before attending your appointment:
In the last 14 days have you experienced fever, new cough, shortness of breath, or difficultly breathing?
Have you travelled to impacted areas as listed on the government of Canada’s COVID-19 active travel health notices?

If you answer yes to any of these questions please cancel your appointment and I would be happy to reschedule you to another date.

Thank you!
